Following up my Definitive H.P. Lovecraft Archive, Vol. 1 post from a while back,

Here's Vol. 2, after a few week's putting it together.
Vol.1 was focused on audio of Lovecraft's own work.
This Volume is a collection of authors who inspired Lovecraft, were friends and relevant contemporaries of Lovecraft, and later authors who were subsequently influenced by Lovecraft. There are also other relevant audio including musical compositions directly inspired by Lovecraft. There is also the unusually addition of NASA's Symphonies Of The Planets. When you hear it you'll understand why.
The archive was driven by what I personally consider relevant and what I've been able to find so it's therefore pretty eclectic, and can be significantly expanded as material becomes available.
The influential authors (e.g. Machen, Poe etc) are agreed by Lovecraft scholars. However there seems little audio of contemporary authors "Lovecraftian" work. So some in here (such as Stephen King's "Jerusalem's Lot") appear because they are available.
Some important influences such as Machen's "The Great God Pan" and Hodgson's "The Night land" don't appear to be yet released as audio, but since they are Public Domain it's always possible that Librivox will complete these as audio.
The range of styles also obviously reflect the very wide time-frame that separates, say, Lord Dunsany and China Mieville.
Like The Definitive H.P. Lovecraft Archive, Vol. 1, this will be regularly updated,as and when I find relevant material.
