| The file size is so big because this is the FULL package. Not only does it contain the installers for x86, x64 and vista, it also contains the command line scanner, server version, quarantine server, reporting server, AV server, etc. With the AV server, you load the server first, then deploy to the clients (which can be done remotely). You can then have definitions downloaded by the server and then pushed out to the clients. Configure settings on clients from the server, get notices of detections, if any clients are not updating, etc. In addition, the Corporate edition does use less resources then the retail version. And as already been mentioned, no serials, cracks, blacklistings, etc. Live updates are good forever basically. Been using this at different companies for the past 12 years. |
