Brandon Pearson began seeing bat-like people while outside his office having a cigarette. Duke Rhinemann explained that they could only be seen by smokers who had given up, but then started again. Brandon attended a meeting of other people that could also see the bat-people, but the meeting was attacked and all but 3 of the attendees were killed.

Brandon and two others moved to Omaha to start the fight against the bat people in a new area.

By now Lester has pretty good ideas of the cause, but their third child becomes a victim too. Lester soon finds out that this doctor has a lot to hide... Like the face of the boogeyman behind a mask of the doctors face!

The Langoliers


A group of people take a red eye flight from L.A. to Boston into an must unfriendly sky on this doomed 767.
