DS2 : Install and run the patch from the iso and copy the crack. Both can be found in the "iNFERNO" folder.
Install DS2BW, now they want to be installed total separately but we'll make it easier.:
DS2 installed dir : x:\games\Microsoft Games\Dungeon Siege 2
DS2BW installed dir x:\games\Microsoft Games\Dungeon Siege 2 Broken World
Run the game from x:\games\Microsoft Games\Dungeon Siege 2 Broken World |
Now for the widescreen and multiscreen fix's.
Using this patch will reduce game performance quite heavily, but if you're using surround gaming equipment then your system is up to it.
In the downloaded folder you will find DS2-TH2Go-CamFix.zip and DS2-WS-FOV.zip.
DS2-TH2Go-CamFix.zip:
Sorry about the main folder named Dungeon_Siege_
Broken_World_Surround_Fix, just ignore the name.

Installation Instructions:
Dungeon Siege 2 Basis Game
1. Copy the th2g-ds2.ds2res file from this archive into the 'resource\'-folder of your DS2 installation (e.g. C:\Games\Dungeon Siege 2\Resources )
2. Copy (NOT move) the World.ds2map file from the 'maps\'-folder of your DS2 installation (e.g. C:\Games\Dungeon Siege 2\Resources\World.ds2map) into your 'resource\'-folder.
3. Rename the copied World.ds2map file to World.ds2res
Dungeon Siege 2 Broken World Expansion
1. Patch the basis game first, using above method
2. Copy the th2g-brokenworld.ds2res file from this archive into the 'resource\'-folder of your DS2-Broken World installation (e.g. C:\Games\Dungeon Siege 2 Broken World\Resources )
Now the only thing left to do is to start the game with the correct resolution.
To do this, you either
a) Start the game with command line parameters: DungeonSiege2.exe height=1280 width=3840
- or -
b) Edit the DungenSiege2.ini file in the "..\My Documents\MyGames\Dungeon Siege 2\" folder and enter the desired resolution. |

***Instructions***
1. Place the Dungeon Siege II ".ds2res" file in the "*Root Dungeon Siege II Game Directory*\Resources" folder. Make sure to use the correct file for your aspect ratio.
2. If you have Broken World place the Broken World ".ds2res" file in the "*Root Broken World Game Directory*\resources" folder.
3. Go to "*Root Dungeon Siege II Game Directory*\maps" folder and copy "World.ds2map" to the "*Root Dungeon Siege II Game Directory*\Resources" folder. Rename the extension on the "World.ds2map" file so it is "World.ds2res".
